When events in Marrakech are staged, they are normally on the high-end of the scale - with the combination of arabic culture, French colonialism and African influences, the Red City is the perfect location for any type of event.
Marrakech is the perfect place to stage a party, simply because of the amazing array of buildings and settings that are available to hire. From Bedouin-style tents in the Sahara Desert to a six-star banquet in the Royal Mansour Hotel, the scale of venues is legion.
Some events in Marrakech that we’re really looking forward to this year include:
Marrakech International Film Festival
Dec 2016
The Marrakech International Film Festival is an international film festival founded in 2001 and held annually. The festival brings visitors and media from all over the world to take part in the screenings, celebrations and parties that fill the week long event. The 2014 festival, for example, enticed 20,000 guests with 70,000 spectators to visit the main screenings in Jemaa el Fna square. Gemma Arterton, Marion Cotillard and Bill Murray have all been previous luminaries lending their support at the festival.
Marrakech Biennial
